Its a familiar dilemma with any sort of professional training or education: How does one translate what theyve learned into actual employment and experience in the field?? When people talk about the Catch-22 of employment and experience, it is precisely this that they are referring to. It can be a frustrating affair knowing that you are as qualified for employment as anybody else in the industry and yet being unable to procure steady employment.

While this problem exists even in the construction industry, we at the National Heavy Equipment Operators School take every possible step to assure you that you will not have to succumb to it. For starters, the training program at National is second to none; ours is a comprehensive two-part course that covers a wide variety of heavy equipment models and gives you the preparation and knowledge to operate them effectively. Night In Satun

My Mercedes is waiting. The sun beams diffusely down through the moisture laden air causing beads of sweat to drip continuously on my already drenched t-shirt. I am going to Satun and the Mercedes is a classic well kept 1962 model. In fact there is a whole fleet of Mercedes waiting to take tourist to Satun from Hai Jai in Southern Thailand. They are all black with an exaggerated curved body indicative of automobiles of the late 50s. And believe it or not, they still retain the comfort that Mercedes is famous for.

The year is 1998 and I am going to the Andaman Sea in the Straits of Malacca. There I will plant myself for two weeks on one of the many somewhat deserted islands that dot this reclusive part of the world. A world inhabited by pirates and honeymooners in the Koh Tarutao National Park system in the very south of Southern Thailand.

Which island I am going to, I dont know, but I am not the only one. Sharing my taxi ride is a young couple in love from Germany and a family from Thailand, husband and wife with their 5 year old son.

It takes

Skate Bored?

Though skateboards were around in the early 50′s and 60′s and actually very widely used back then they weren’t well made and so eventually died out. The early ones were basically just milk crates with roller skate wheels and maybe a handle. More like a scooter. The wheels were the big problem, being mostly of clay, and resulted in lots of accidents from slipping or breaking and causing a fall. Even with better boards the wheels still created difficulty, and the sport pretty well died out in the mid-60′s.

It wasn’t until the 1970′s that Frank Nasworthy, a surfer, developed a wheel made from urethane and then added precision bearings, and bolted them to a good quality board. The sport took off again.

The first skateboard parks from that time were mainly empty pools but lots of great moves and jumps were developed during that time, including the famous “ollie”, a no hands aerial. Accidents and then the ever-increasing liability insurance killed the sport a second time and by the 1980′s most of the parks had closed down.

In the 1990′s the sport regained popularity and though it has had some fluctuations since it has mainly

Digital projectors are those video projectors which are used in conferences for presentations. The digital projectors receive video signals from, usually, desktop computers and display images on large screens which can be easily comprehended by all in the gathering.

Two Types of Digital Projectors
To begin with, there are two technologies used by digital projectors, the older one being the LCD, liquid crystal display with independent transparent panels of LCD for each constituent primary color (red, blue and green.) The image transmission depends on the signal received by the projector from PC which redirects the light signals through these LCD panels and lens onto a screen. The LCD projectors look pretty similar to older slide projectors and are simple in construction and thus cost less in comparison to their successors DLP projectors. The LCD can be thought of as slides placed at the focal length of the lens making it complete. Clarity of picture in LCD projectors depends on the number of pixels it is set for.
